How completeness is checked
A complete November 3 ballot inventory needs official candidate and measure lists across states, territories, counties, municipalities and districts. Filing records alone do not establish a certified ballot. Special terms, write-ins, multi-seat contests, retention questions and canceled elections need separate checks.
Election data providers and statewide lists have coverage limits. A large contest total, a state page, or a data subscription does not by itself establish that every local election is included.
Remaining gaps
- State candidate rosters remain missing or partial in Arizona, Georgia, New Hampshire, Nevada and Rhode Island. Rhode Island House and statewide rosters and Tennessee governor and legislative rosters have been added, but local reconciliation remains incomplete.
- Local jurisdictions and special districts have not been reconciled nationwide.
- Certified write-ins and independently scheduled special-election terms remain partially verified.
- Most source lists do not state official vote-for limits; this poll asks one preferred candidate where a limit is not verified.
- Some measure option labels and candidate portraits remain unavailable.
Contests without an election-office source URL are withheld. Candidates declared elected without a November vote are excluded. A question with unverified option labels is discoverable but cannot be selected.
How this opinion ballot works
Explicit multi-seat limits are supported. Where a verified vote-for limit is unavailable, this poll asks for one preferred candidate. It does not reproduce official ranked ballots. Party selection buttons fill unambiguous printed candidates within those limits; they leave nonpartisan choices intact and ask you to resolve competing candidates from the same party. No party button submits a ballot.
